about the tour

About The Tour

Around 1600 BC, a volcano in the middle of the Aegean tore itself apart. The sea rushed into the crater it left behind, and the island of Santorini took the crescent shape it has today, its villages perched along cliffs that drop straight into the water. The ash buried a thriving Bronze Age town, and the eruption shook the great Minoan civilization on nearby Crete.

This journey follows Greece from its beginnings to its living present. In Athens, we stand before the Parthenon and walk the streets where democracy was born. On Santorini, we sail inside the drowned crater at sunset. On Crete, Europe’s oldest civilization meets Venetian harbours, mountain villages and a coastline that opens onto the Libyan Sea. Between the sights, there is time to do what Greeks do best: eat well, linger long and watch the light change over the water.

Signature Experiences

Our  itinerary is built around hands-on encounters with the traditions that define the country — not performances staged for tourists, but living practices you take part in directly.
